High temperature ceramics

Technical ceramics are often used in high temperature environments. Parts can be used in temperatures up to 2200 °C in inert conditions. The right material selection depends on various factors: Maximum temperature, presence of oxygen, time to heat up and availability of the required material. Not every material is available in tubes, plates or other forms, and it is therefore important to verify designs at an early stage.
